In the lore of Conan the Barbarian by Robert E Howard Yog is a deity worshipped by tribes of cannibals and I took inspiration from this to imagine the misanthropic ultimate conclusion of a legion of superhuman killing machines attempting to thin the veil between real space and the emperian through maximum carnage – even if it means the wholesale destruction of thier own race.
